Matthew L. Curry
Biography
Matthew L. Curry, Ph.D., is a Senior Research and Development Staff Member at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham on the topic of GPU-accelerated direct-attached resilient block storage. His current research interests include parallel and distributed file, object, and other storage systems; storage system semantics and optimizations; programming environment construction and management on HPC systems; and alternative computing architectures, including Arm processors, accelerators, and Smart NICs. He is also interested in computer science/HPC education for undergraduate and high school students, and serves as president of the New Mexico Supercomputing Challenge.
