Javier Bartolome
Biography
Javier has more than 18 years of experience in the HPC field. Is Systems Group Manager at BSC since 2005, where he is in charge of MareNostrum supercomputer deployments and operability as whole BSC IT equipment. Has a BSc in Engineering in Informatics in the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). During last 15 years has participated in multiple European projects related with HPC infrastructures, like DEISA and PRACE, and is currently the Principal Investigator for BSC in HBP project.
