James Juno

Biography
James (Jimmy) Juno is a National Science Foundation Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Iowa. He received his B. Sc. in computational physics from Rice University and his PhD from the University of Maryland, College Park, working under the supervision of Professor William (Bill) Dorland.
Jimmy Juno is a core member of the Gkeyll team led by Ammar Hakim at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. His thesis work involved the design and implementation of novel numerical methods for the discretization of (plasma) kinetic equations and he has applied these methods to the study of a number of fundamental plasma systems, from collisionless shocks to plasma microinstabilities.
