Hugo Brunie

Biography
Hugo Brunie is currently a postdoc at NERSC, LBNL. He is part of the NESAP program, in which he focuses on Mixed Precision Optimizations. His research interests extend to Profile Guided Optimization, Data Management, Debugging, and Machine Learning.
Hugo received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Bordeaux University, France, in 2019, where he studied Data Allocation Optimization for HPC Applications on Heterogeneous Memory Architectures with Pr. Denis Barthou. He worked half time at CEA of Bruyères-le-Châtel under the supervision of Patrick Carribault, and Julien Jaeger. Before joining NERSC he was a teaching assistant at Bordeaux University.
