I am a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California Irvine. I started my PhD program studying multi-phase turbulent flow with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods. Later I joined the HPC Forge Lab and and focused on designing algorithms to speed up the CFD applications. I have participated in developing several CFD solvers/benchmarks in both Fortran and C++ and performed massively parallel simulations with MPI and OpenMP on top supercomputers. As we march into the era of machine learning, I am now designing accurate Deep Learning surrogate for conventional CFD methods.
