For about two years now, I have been interested and involved in HPC. Two years ago I joined a team project based research team at my university called the VIP HPC team. To this day, I am still a member of the VIP research team, and have joined Prof. Sunita Chandrasekaran's HPC research lab here at UD. Last year at SC17, I had my poster and work presented, but was unable to attend the conference. Through my work in supercomputing and molecular dynamics related projects, I have developed a passion for enabling other researchers and domain scientists to create breakthroughs and handle datasets like never before. My passions outside of computing are mainly music, sports, and learning about tech. My end goal in my career is to combine my knowledge and skill set from working in the HPC community with my love for music and instrumentation. This summer I am in the midst of my second internship related to HPC. Specifically, I am working at Indiana University on their Jetstream cloud computing platform and also alongside various other XSEDE resources housed here on IU's campus.
