Craig Ulmer is a researcher in the Scalable Modeling and Analysis Systems group at Sandia National Laboratories. His current research interests include offloading data management tasks to Smart NICs and developing communication software that enables concurrent, parallel simulations and analysis codes to exchange datasets. Prior to joining Sandia he received a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech for his work on low-level communication libraries for HPC.
