Weronika Filinger is HPC Applications Consultant working at EPCC, The University of Edinburgh. She has been deeply involved in the design and development of the first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Supercomputing, and facilitated all runs of the course. She is teaching Practical Introduction to HPC – an online course offered as a part of an online masters programme at the University of Edinburgh. For years Weronika has been a member of the EPCC outreach team, taking HPC related activities to public events. She is serving as the co-chair of the Outreach Committee of the ACM SIGHPC Education Chapter and the publicity chair of the International HPC Certification Program. She is also involved in running the International HPC Summer School. Over the years she has worked on a number of collaborative projects such as CRESTA, ADEPT, APES, SARGASSO and DEEP-EST, and provided consultancy for the Software Sustainability Institute.
