Dr Vinay C Amatya is a computer scientist in the High Performance Computing group in Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, based in Richland, Washington, USA. He is currently working on a project exploring how one can utilize real-time data feed to drive simulations and perform immediate impact analysis. Vinay's research interests include runtime systems for distributed systems, graph algorithms, dispersed computing, cybersecurity, scalable machine learning algorithms. Earlier he was a postdoctoral research associate in the same group from June 2015 till July 2018. He finished his B.E. in 2005 in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He earned his M.S. in System Science in 2012 and Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2014 respectively from Louisiana State University, USA.
