Jessica Hoopengardner spent summer 2020 as the CISL Outreach, Diversity, and Education intern at NCAR. During her time at NCAR, she supported the Summer Internships in Parallel Computational Sciences Program (SIParCS), by helping move the program online, by facilitating virtual networking and professional development sessions, and by connecting with SIParCS alumni. She currently studies Higher Education and Student Affairs at Indiana University and will be graduating with her M.S.Ed in Spring 2021. She hopes to work with STEM students and scientists in diversity education.
