Md Abdullah Shahneous Bari
Biography
Md Abdullah Shahneous Bari is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Department of Computer Science at Stony Brook University under the supervision of Dr. Barbara Chapman. His research interest focuses on compilers, resilience, runtime adaptation, power-aware computing, and programming models in the scope of High Performance Computing. Much of his research concentrates on developing compiler and runtime adaptation techniques to facilitate resilience and better resource utilization in the current and future HPC systems. He has worked on OpenMP, OpenSHMEM, OpenACC, and CUDA. Before transferring to Stony Brook, he was a graduate student at the University of Houston. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
