Michael Lass
Biography
Michael Lass is PhD student at the Department of Computer Science at Paderborn University, Germany, and scientific employee at the Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing (PC²). He received his M.Sc. degree from Paderborn University in 2016. In his studies, Michael focuses on the topics of reconfigurable computing and approximate computing. At PC², he is currently working on the exploitation of approximation techniques in scientific codes and numeric libraries to facilitate effective use of FPGA accelerators in HPC environments.
