Evangelos Georganas
Biography
Evangelos Georganas is a Research Scientist at Intel Labs in Santa Clara, California. Before joining Intel, he was an interim Postdoctoral Fellow in the Computational Research Division at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, working on high-performance algorithms for genome and metagenome assembly. He obtained his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in Computer Science where he was advised by Prof. Katherine Yelick. His research interests include High Performance Computing, Deep Learning and Scientific Applications.
