Arghya is a Performance Engineer in the Scientific Computing Group (SciComp), National Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His primary responsibilities are supporting and optimizing Exascale Computing Project (ECP) and Center for Accelerated Application Readiness (CAAR) applications for the Frontier supercomputer.
Arghya is also supporting a SciDAC (Scientific Discovery through Advanced Computing) effort on both research capacity and as a liaison for the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility’s (OLCF) INCITE project.
Prior to the R&D Staff Assistant position, Arghya worked as a Post Master’s Research Associate at the ORNL for a year. where his research focussed on optimizing legacy condensed matter physics applications at ORNL, using asynchronous programming models and hardware optimizations.
