Derya Cavdar
Biography
Derya Cavdar is currently working as a software engineer at AWS AI, in Palo Alto, CA. She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2016. Previously, she was a software engineer at Microsoft Vancouver and visiting scientist at IBM Research Zurich. Her research interests are deep learning, distributed training optimization, large scale machine learning systems and performance modeling.
