Dipti Shankar is a recent PhD graduate from the Network-Based Computing Lab (NOWLAB) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. She has worked on designing fast, resilient, and heterogeneity-aware key-value storage for modern HPC clusters, as a part of her thesis under Dr. Dhabaleswar K. (DK) Panda and Dr. Xiaoyi Lu. She has also worked on various public software releases (RDMA-Memcached, RDMA-Spark, OSU HiBD Benchmarks) under the High-Performance Big Data (HiBD) project. Her research interests are focused on high-performance networking and storage media for Big Data, including, non-volatile memory technologies and memory-centric storage systems.
