John Goodhue is the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center, a data center and consortium that serves more than 20,000 researchers, students, and educators at Boston University, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, the University of Massachusetts, and other institutions in the Northeast.
John’s interests include regional and national collaboration on infrastructure for research computing, through his work as a co-PI on the Northeast Storage Exchange and the Open Storage Network, and as a steering committee member for the Northeast Big Data Hub and the Eastern Regional Network. As Principal Investigator for the Northeast Cyberteam, he has applied particular focus to partnerships that make advanced computing more accessible researchers at small and mid-sized institutions. John’s interests also include developing the next generation of computing professionals, with emphasis on workforce diversity, through his work on Expanding Computer Science Education Pathways Alliance. the MGHPCC internship program, and Holyoke Codes
