Rubén J. García-Hernández
Dr. Rubén Jesús García-Hernández (male) studied Computer Science at the University of Granada (Spain) where he obtained his PhD in Computer Graphics in 2009. He has worked in the Universities of Granada, Girona and Hasselt, and in the Allegorithmic firm. He is currently (since 2014) a researcher at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences in Munich. His research interests include physics simulations and related infrastructure: supercomputing, data management and data visualization (including virtual reality). He has participated in various national and European research projects (e.g. e-Cecilia, Dynacar, DreamSpace, MrSymbioMath, NOMAD, LEXIS).
