Candace Culhane

Biography
Candace Culhane is an employee of Los Alamos National Laboratory, where she is a Program/Project Director reporting to the Associate Lab Director for Computation and Simulation. She represents the Laboratory on multiple conference committees, and is a co-lead of the IEEE Quantum Initiative. She works closely with LANL Quantum Information Science researchers and develops relationships with potential partners in the quickly evolving quantum information science community.
Candace is a long time attendee of the SC conference series, beginning with her first conference in 1992. She has been a volunteer with the conference since 2001, first serving on the tutorials committee in 2001 and subsequently filling a variety of roles including Tutorials Chair for SC05, and Local Arrangements Chair for SC19. She is a current member of the Steering Committee and has been selected to serve as the GC for SC22.
