Jorge Galvez Vallejo
Biography
Jorge Luis Gálvez Vallejo born and raised in the city of Tampico, Mexico moved to Iowa State University to study his PhD under the guidance of Mark Gordon. He is now a fourth-year student and he is active in both the fields of theory and applications. He is interested in heterogeneous catalysis applications for fuels and energetics, and bonding analysis in different chemical systems. On the theory side, he has ventured into the field of High-Performance Computing, devoting a significant amount of time to Exascale Computing Project. He is currently interested in developing GPU accelerated Quantum Chemical methods.
