Karlyn Harrod

Biography
Karlyn Harrod is a 6th year PhD Candidate in the Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics Department at the University of Notre Dame. This is Karlyn’s third SC conference. She began her involvement in SC as a regular student volunteer and then became a lead student volunteer the following year. Karlyn is currently serving as the Chair of the Lead Student Volunteers on the Students@SC Committee. Her current research interest are biomedical applications of data science. Specifically, she is interested in mathematical models of the cardiovascular system, infectious diseases modeling, and the modeling of other biologically driven systems.
