Virtual Event FAQ
I work with Prof. Eric Johnsen who directs the Scientific Computing & Flow Physics Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. My research interest lies in the intersection of three fields - 1) Fluid Mechanics with special focus in turbulent flows, 2) Numerical Methods with interest in development of high-order methods using recovery discontinuous galerkin (RDG) methods, and 3) High-Performance Computing (HPC) with expertise in multi-CPU parallel programming and multi-GPU implementations. Most recent-work includes optimization of high-order based CFD framework for extreme-scale computations on modern HPC platforms.
