Kunal Puri
Biography
Dr. Kunal Puri is employed as the head of the High-Order-Methods group at Numeca International in Brussels, Belgium. Kunal obtained his PhD in Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India in 2014. His PhD was focused on compressible flows using the Smoothed-Particle-Hydrodynamics (SPH) approach. Upon graduating, Kunal began working on high-order methods including Flux-Reconstruction as a postdoctoral scholar at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, in Haifa, Israel. Kunal is involved in the European funded TILDA project and an associated PRACE computational campaign to simulate transitional flows for a full span low pressure turbine cascade using FineFR.
