Max Grossman is a senior research scientist at Georgia Tech University in the School of Computer Science. His work focuses on runtimes and programming models for large-scale, coupled simulation and analysis workloads. Max's research emphasizes the value of PGAS communication models and task-based computation models in designing productive and well-performing programming systems. Max represents Georgia Tech on the OpenSHMEM standards committee, and is a co-author of the "Professional CUDA C Programming" textbook. Max earned his PhD in Computer Science from Rice University in 2017.
