Elliott Slaughter
Biography
Elliott Slaughter is an Associate Staff Scientist in the Computer Science Research Department at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. Prior to that he obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Stanford University under the advisorship of Alex Aiken. His research interests span programming languages, compilers, parallel computing, and high-performance computing. One of his current projects is Legion, a forward-looking programming system for writing parallel, distributed programs.
