Biography
Compton Tucker has been a Physical Scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt Maryland specializing in satellite observation of vegetation on land since 1977. He specializes in using satellite geophysical observations to study the global terrestrial carbon cycle. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland, a consulting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union, and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
