Priyanjani Chandra is a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science at Northern Illinois University (NIU). She works as a research assistant in ddiLab at NIU. She also worked as a research aide in Summer 2020 at Argonne National Laboratory. During this period she did research in Computer Vision and Deep Learning. Her emphasis is on exploring efficient ways to use computational methods to detect change in the water level of a creek from image data. She enjoys working with various Machine Learning (ML) algorithms to see how effectively can the available data be used in solving real-world problems.
