Huazhong Yang

Biography
Huazhong Yang received B.S. degree in microelectronics in 1989, M.S. and Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering in 1993 and 1998, respectively, all from Tsinghua University. He has been a Professor with the Department of Engineering, Tsinghua University, since 1998. Prof. Yang was awarded the Distinguished Young Researcher by NSFC in 2000, Cheung Kong Scholar by the Chinese Ministry of Education (CME) in 2012, science and technology award first prize by China Highway and Transportation Society in 2016, and technological invention award first prize by CME in 2019. He has been in charge of several projects, including projects sponsored by the national science and technology major project, 863 program, NSFC, and several international research projects. Prof. Yang has authored and co-authored over 500 technical papers, 7 books, and over 180 granted Chinese patents. His current research interests include wireless sensor networks, data converters, energy-harvesting circuits, nonvolatile processors, and brain inspired computing.
