Biography
Wei Zhang is a Ph.D Candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Texas Tech University (TTU). His research interests broadly lies in scalable data management. Currently, he works on metadata and provenance management for scientific data. As the leading author, his published research works include:
1) DART: distributed adaptive radix tree for efficient affix-based keyword search on HPC systems (PACT '18) (DOI: 10.1145/3243176.3243207),
2) MIQS: Metadata Indexing and Querying Service for Self-Describing File Formats (SC '19) (DOI: 10.1145/3295500.3356146),
3) Exploring Metadata Search Essentials for Scientific Data Management (HiPC '19) (DOI: 10.1109/HiPC.2019.00021).

He also participated in the research on graph-based metadata management and published the following research work:
1) AKIN: a streaming graph partitioning algorithm for distributed graph storage systems (CCGrid '18) (as leading author, DOI:10.1109/CCGRID.2018.00033)
