Mr. Michael R. Crusoe is the lead of the Common Workflow Language project through the Software Freedom Conservancy, Inc. and one of the CWL co-founders. He is also a contributor to the ELIXIR bioinformatics network through DTL Projects as their "Project Leader FAIR Service Architecture". After much encouragement he has finally started a PhD program in Computer Science and Bioinformatics at VU Amsterdam with the support of Alexandru Iosup and Jaap Heringa. Previously he contributed to the H2020 funded EOSCPilot H2020 and the IEEE Std. 2791-2020.
