  Solutions Engineer will design, deploy, administer and\nupdate large-scal
 e research systems, related infrastructure services,\ngrid software stacks
  and operating systems. The position will be\nresponsible for components o
 f Purdue’s computational research\nenvironment, and will work closely with
  researchers, systems\nadministrators, and developers throughout the Unive
 rsity and\npartner institutions. Consults with multiple IT colleagues, ext
 ernal\nresearch groups and on grant-funded initiatives. Administers\nexist
 ing cluster and grid infrastructure technologies, and researches/\nprototy
 pes new systems and technologies. Participates in national\ncomputing acti
 vities by attending workshops and conferences and\npotentially presenting
