 Administration Laboratory Residency Graduate Fellowship\n\n\n\nThe Departm
 ent of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration Laboratory Residenc
 y Graduate Fellowship (DOE NNSA LRGF) program seeks candidates who demonst
 rate the skills and potential to form the next generation of leaders in th
 e following fields of study that address complex science and engineering p
 roblems critical to stewardship science: engineering and applied sciences,
  physics, materials, mathematics and computational science. \n\nTo meet it
 s primary objective of encouraging the training of scientists, the DOE NNS
 A LRGF program provides financial support to talented students who accompa
 ny their study and research with practical work experience at one or more 
 of the following DOE NNSA facilities: Lawrence Livermore National Laborato
 ry, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories (New Mexi
 co) or the Nevada National Security Site.\n\nFellows will work and study i
 n residence at one or more of four approved DOE NNSA facilities for a mini
 mum of two 12-week periods. Longer stays are highly encouraged, up to or i
 ncluding pursuit of thesis studies at a chosen site. This residency requir
 ement opens compelling research opportunities to students and their adviso
 rs, including access to unique DOE NNSA experimental and computing facilit
 ies.\n\nThe DOE NNSA SSGF program provides outstanding benefits to U.S. ci
 tizens that include payment of full tuition and required fees at any U.S. 
 accredited university; $36,000 yearly stipend; two 12-week residencies at 
 a national laboratory; academic allowance for research or professional dev
 elopment expenses, an annual program review for fellows, alumni, universit
 y and DOE laboratory staff; and an opportunity to join a supportive and en
 gaged community of scientific leaders.\n\nThis equal opportunity program i
