 nt of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration Stewardship Science 
 Graduate Fellowship (DOE NNSA SSGF) is open to U.S. citizens planning full
 -time, uninterrupted study toward a doctoral degree at an accredited U.S. 
 university. \n\nThose eligible to apply include senior undergraduate stude
 nts and first- and second-year graduate students focusing their studies on
  high energy density physics, nuclear science, or properties of materials 
 under extreme conditions and hydrodynamics.\n\nDOE NNSA SSGF recipients mu
 st be enrolled as full-time graduate students at an accredited U.S. colleg
 e or university and must study and research within the fellowship goals. D
 uring the summer, fellows should conduct full-time research related to com
 pleting their degree, enroll in classes or take a practicum assignment at 
 one of the DOE NNSA laboratories.\n\nDOE NNSA SSGF provides outstanding be
 nefits to U.S. citizens including payment of full tuition and required fee
 s at any U.S. accredited university; $36,000 yearly stipend; a 12-week res
 earch practicum at a national laboratory; academic allowance for research 
 or professional development expenses; an annual program review for fellows
 , alumni, university and DOE laboratory staff; and an opportunity to join 
 a supportive and engaged community of scientific leaders.\n\nThis equal op
